New Blog

Hi friends,

Since this blog was a project for 365 days, I’ve started a new one that is more indefinite.

Merry Christmas!

Another Trip around the Sun…

A year ago November 19…

I am so thankful for all the beauty that surrounds us in this world! Capturing glimpses of it through photographs this year has been a rich and rewarding experience indeed.

Thank you so much everyone who has shared in this journey together! Blessings on you and finding beauty in this next trip around the sun!

“Look, Peter. The sky! What a lovely, lovely day. Aren’t the clouds beautiful? You know what I do when I think I couldn’t stand being cooped up for one more minute? I think myself out. I think myself on a walk in the park, where we used to go with Pim, where the jonquils and the crocus and the violets grow down the slopes. It’s funny, I used to take it all for granted, but now I’ve gone crazy about everything to do with nature! Haven’t you? I wish you had a religion, Peter. Oh, I don’t mean you have to be orthodox and believe in Heaven and Hell and Purgatory and things, just some religion. It doesn’t matter what. Just to believe in something. When I think of all that’s out there, the birds, the trees, the seagulls, when I think of the dearness of you Peter, and the goodness of people we know…Mr. Kraler, Miep, Dirk, the vegetable man! When I think of these good things, I’m not afraid anymore…I find myself. I wish people didn’t have to suffer. There have always been people that have had to. Sometimes one race, sometimes another, and yet… I know, it’s terrible trying to have any faith, when people are doing such horrible things…But If you’d only think of it as part of a big picture, Peter. That we’re just a little minute in the life. Listen to us, going at each other like a couple of stupid grownups, again. But look at the sky, Peter. Isn’t is lovely?
